You have to have the URL for the picture. If it is already online somewhere then
it has a web address. If it is a picture on your local machine then you can upload it using the link in the forums called "picture poster". Once you upload it using the picture poster then keep track of the URL. Go into post a message and post the URL in the box that says "optional image URL".
This should work. Good luck.

I can only push off the lower ring part away from the shift knob. But still unable to pull up the shift knob. Any one can teach me this?? I tried to pull up so hard w/ the button pull out to its end. Any idea?

Hey Karl,

Vancouver A4 Club sponsor J2 Motor Group in Richmond, BC Canada (604-231-0732) can performs this modification for their customers. They can use pretty much any manual shift knob out there other than the twist-on type. The modification will also retain the safety mechanism provided by the side button which prevents the driver from shifting directly from "D" to "R" for example, and is totally reversable if you wish to put the stock shift knob back on.

That's my shift knob conversion pictured above. Sorry I don't have a better picture of it scanned. The shift knob is a Momo Race AirLeather Aluminum shft knob. As one of J2's specialized mods, I will not give out instructions on the conversion even though I performed this modification myself. I know of at least three Tiptronic cars in the Vancouver A4 Club with this modification using different shift knobs. I think it looks great.

japanese car. It has a white plastic core need to pull up as pressing the button instead of push down in a japanese car. =) James, you're right, it seems easy to use non-screw on manual shift knob as a replacement. As I'm not in Vancouver, I'll need to find a way and try to replace one for myself. I hope I'll be success.
