Well, its time to replace the Bridgestone 225/45R17 tires in my 2001 225QR. I live in southern California and very seldom drive the TT when it rains, and I want a good balance between comfort and performance. Cost is not a driver. I'm thinking of one of Michlien tires. Any recommendations?
Thanks in advance,

These tires steered telepathically. The car tracked laser straight at speed. In this area, the best in my experience. I grew weary of the road shock and racket they generated on some surfaces. I replaced them with Dunlop SP9000 Sports. They are less precise in their tracking, require more attention to simply travel in a straight line, and are sensitive to road camber changes. The faster you go, however, the better they get. They are quite pleasant for high speed highway travel. I have not done any race track activity but cornering power at extra-legal speed on the highway seems limitless. These tires are quiet and deliver execptional ride comfort. They hook up well in rain, and contrairy to popular opinion I have had no problems in snow. We don't get hard freezing here, I would be VERY carefull on ice. On balance I like these tires and will be faced with the question when replacement time comes: another set of SP9000's, or try the S-03's?
