I received my Audi Botique catalog in the mail the other day, with a cover letter explaining that I get a 10% discount for being a Quattro Club member. Sweeet! Here's a picture of the Tomiya A4 STW Radio Controlled Car and Kit. Only $495!!! (well, $445 for me apparently).<p>Steve Olsen<br>'97 1.8TQMS Wett1.0/RamAir<br>

I haven't heard of tOmiya only tAmiya. The radio controlled Audi A4 STW is 1/10th scale and made by Tamiya of Japan. It requires a 2 channel radio transmitter with electronics, a 6 cell battery, and a battery charger. All of which are not included. If you're interested, check out www.towerhobbies.com. Their selection is huge and their prices aren't too bad. Hope this helps. If you have any other questions, email me.<p>Paul C

I currently have the kit on sale at ebay. The starting bid is really really low. The kit is worth well over $120.00<p>Check it out at :<br><ul><li><a href="http://cgi.ebay.com/aw-cgi/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=54939001">Tamiya A4 Kit</a></li></ul>

Is this similar to a plastic model kit where painting, gluing, and decal application is required? Or is it a matter of assembling prepainted parts?

And it definately says $495 retail price, but this is an "official" Audi Botique catalog, so no markdown. Text also says "Capable of speeds up to 30 mph. Includes professional 2-channel remote control system with two servos and a BEC receiver, 7.2. V/1500 mAh racing pack and matching 220V main charger. Car assembly required." ...whatever all that means.
