ME 01-10-1999, 02:28 PM I'm surprised they didn't total the car. Usually they will total if the damage exceeds 40% of the value of the car. I would see if you can get it totalled. My neighbors son ran a red drunk in his Outback and T-boned a cop. The damage was extensive but he had it repaired (took monthes.) Anyways, the car was never the same and he eventually sold the car and bought a new one. Don't mean to spook you but with that kind of damage the car will never be the same. Good luck.
