I will be picking up my 98.5 2.8 Avant next week and also travelling to Europe next sunday. European headlights usually are glass and much better in cutoffs,etc. than the acrylic ones usually found in US models Does anyone have the european glass lights and which ones did you buy? They are usually not available in the US. Any other suggestions of items I should pick up in Europe not available here in the US ? Thanks

In my experience the Euro headlights can be purchased in the US (LLtek etc), and in direct comparison they are actually cheaper than in Europe.<p>What I got from "home" was the aspherical left mirror plus the tail lights (amber turn signals which look red when off; like Passat). You should focus on things that you *can't* get, lights aren't an example of that.<p>Just my $.02...<br>- Stan
