I scanned some images form German magazines which I just brought with me. They show the A6 V8 and the "A6 AllRoad". I WAS STATIONED IN EUROPE FOR FOUR YEARS AND DROVE THROUGT SWITZERLAND AT LEAT 20 TIMES FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM I HAD NO PROBLEMS, THEY DRIVE JUST THE SAME AS GERMANS VERY GOOD.

I was commenting on the picture of the car on Stan's website...it is a car standing on its trunk with the front of the car pointed straight up. I know Stan just got back from Switzerland to visit his parents, so I made a joke...which is no longer funny since I had to explain it. :-(<p>I am sure the Swiss drive great.<p>Steve S.<br>97 2.8QM

I really like the juxaposition of the the two colors...laser red..and that light color of the seats. Sport seats...of course.

My friend got his second A4 last week...and it had a free cargo net in the bag...that piece of equipment is included and not included...you never know if your new car is gonna come with one or not. I wouldn't be surprised to see the new stereo just show up one day on newly ordered cars. Will there be any notification of this to the dealers...probably not...it will just show up.

Of course, this is only my conjecture...but I could be right.

I personally want leather sport seats...and I have to get an S4 to get them..oh well..better order
now before they change their minds.

Wow, except for the Laser Red (mine will be Hibiscus) your car is almost exactly like mine. My car is still "on the truck", in port on 7/13, still not here. I have the Ecru/Cabernet leather, sport seats and sport package, the Ecru leather sport seats just look so nice. Did you have the windows tinted? I really like the black windows/pillar trim with the Laser Red, very nice. I am going to get the rear de-badged and I already have the Mintex Red Box on order so my 7-spokes stay nice and clean. Thanks for the pics, I will post some of mine if I ever get it.

Of course I'm partial because last week I got my Laser Red 1.8T. Laser Red is a real attention getter. Great color to wax and wash. I find it doesn't show the dirt and dust too much. I am really impressed. I cannot believe the attention this super bright color gets.

the first few weeks after getting my Laser Red 1.8Tqms ... then had to grudgingly admit it had to be the car! It's a great color, a true racing type red with no maroon in it, and it certainly does get the looks. I love it. Only Brilliant Yellow is more eye-catching, IMO.

I only have 280 miles on my Laser Red 1.8Tqm so I'm not going to spill the beans yet.
Both are trully fablous cars and so very different. I must say the 2.8 is very smooth and luxurous while the Laser Red 1.8T is so sporty, the color, 5 speed manual and the sport seats.

I haven't really stompped on the 1.8T it is just too new for that so I will need to post my full story later. Sorry Karen but stay tunned.
