Off the top of my head:
1) Gary @ Ronal
2) Me - Steve S. (NorCal A4 Owners Club)
3) Corey S (member NorCal club)
4) Robert Yee (SoCal Club President)
5) Mike Shirley (license plate "BUST IT")
6) Rich Quinlan (I think)
To summarize...we all love the sound...kinda expensive for just a muffler
($425 - $500, depending on who you buy from)....helps more at the high
end of the power curve....slight benefit felt seat of the pants....gain of about
4-7 bhp purported by Remus (I have an old catalog) - bhp gain sounds about
right.
Email me if you have any other questions.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM
Just 'cos it's not stainless (which, due to being thinner, transmits mroe sound to the cabin), doesn't mean it's going to rust. The unit is very well made, and I've had mine for about a year and a half, and still looks great.
I've also had other exhausts (Hartge is the most memorable) that WERE stainless, and fell apart due to stress on the welds..
To what are you basing your "ready to rust" statements??
Rich

Similarities:
1) Both own A4
2) Both have a 2.8L
3) Both have 5-speeds
4) Both own Laser Red car
5) Both have aftermarket Remus mufflers
6) Both have a "need for speed"
7) Both weigh over 225 lbs :-)
Steve S.
97 2.8QM
P.S. How come my butt doesn't fit into those nice sport seats?
