GS gave me two choices:

1. BOV with one pipe ($400 bucks for parts, tax, installation)
2. BOVW with 3 pipes(I think that one is about 500 to 550)

Right now the BOV is set to the most loose position. I can be rather loud! I bought it primarily for noise and you dont need a lot of boost to make noise. It does sound like othe BOVs out there.

On a side note, this was on a Passat 1.8T, just thought other 1.8T owners would be interested. GS said they are on back order for about 100 units!!

is the piping hard or soft?

The piping is custome fabricated metal.
