If so, please email me. Last year we met at my house and had a nice "cruise" (yeah...thats what it was...a cruise) up to the Quattro Club event. Hope to see you there.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM

Stay away from COMMONWEALTH(SNA), they have the worst sales staff of any auto dealer I have experienced...

I recently (mid-June) purchased a 1.8Tms from Circle - dealt with Reiner, the fleet manager and Aaron, one of the sales guys. Both treated me very well, straight shooters, and the deal was done in just over an hour. My only complaint - they weren't particularly willing to deal on the price. My prior lease was expiring, they had the car I wanted (actually they'd had three identical versions fresh off the boat on Sunday, sold 1 by Tuesday, sold me one Wednesday, were selling the third on Thursday when I went to pick mine up - guess these cars are in demand), so I basically bent over and took it.

Other experiences:

Newport Beach: also treated me very well, like others here dealt with Rob & Marty, and would have bought a car there (it's closer to me in Irvine) but they had no 1.8 manuals in stock or arriving & available anytime soon. They were willing to deal on a 2.8, but I'm a 1.8 kind of guy, so I went to Circle.

McKenna: typical auto sales jerks - I walked when it became clear that they had no interest in being up front with me about the money factor, capitalized cost, etc. (obviously, I'm leasing). As I walked, the guy finally was honest enough to tell me that they wouldn't sell for less than MSRP. They were also jacking up the money factor - Circle gave it to me for the buy rate.

Commonwealth (Santa Ana): the sales guy there (sorry, don't remember a name) was more interested in selling me a Passat because he had lots of those and didn't have any 1.8 A4s (other than a completely stripped model - no roof, no sport, no nothing, which he did try to convince me was what I really wanted). Made no effort to check future arrivals; said he'd call if they got anything. I'm still waiting. I'd try to make a deal with Newport Beach or Circle first.

No service experience yet - only 2000 miles.

Hope this helps.

I called to have an alignment done. Once they heard I had aftermarket rims, they wanted nothing to do with me.
