Come Back Tom Pinkston 01-08-1999, 08:35 PM I'll be sure to mention how much he's missed here when we speak next :-)
Tom P.

BK 07-30-1999, 04:06 AM I was visiting NE Mass a few weeks ago. It seems nobody uses turn signals there! MikeM 07-30-1999, 06:18 AM NT Zsolt 07-30-1999, 07:36 AM I think a dealer should be able to get the part for you special order. I posted a classified on this site to sell my all red tails and got half a dozen responses in a couple of days. Sold for $180. I think you can get brand new from dealer for ~$300. I got mine in a junkyard in Europe. Chris 07-30-1999, 08:48 AM I thought , i was the only one concerned with this,,people have called me anal ,,because of it,,,,I bought mine 1999,,1.8 model,,I figured because it's German it would automatically have it.To my amazement, when i picked it up ,,it was all red.,,I really agree, that it is a safety hazard,It should be law to have separate amber blinkers....I got rid of my 1998 Acura, partly because of it. Audiboy 07-30-1999, 11:48 AM nt Cathleen 07-30-1999, 12:11 PM I'm from the other side of the planet on this subject, I guess. I took my amber/red lights out because I dislike orange. If you notice, more than half the cars on the road have all red anyway (GM, Ford, Chrysler and many other makes), so I think people are looking for a blinking light, not necessarily always an orange, blinking light. Plus, the Audi 90s and so on had all red taillights too, so this is not something new on Audis. However, if you are a fan of the amber signals, I do have the amber/red ('96) with the bulb holders that are in practically new condition just sitting in a box. If you are interested, you can e-mail me (through the link) and I'll work something out with you. -Cathleen Tom 07-30-1999, 08:24 PM the Chevrolet Silverado/GMC Sierra and Toyota Tundra don't have all-red tailights, but most rednecks don't use turn signal when they change and merge lanes because they are the KING OF THE ROAD especially those heavy duty series.
