I received a surprise phone call from Newport (CA) Audi this morning: My TTQR had returned from the Texas ESP retrofit, and would be ready for pickup at 1:00 pm!

This was really a shocker, since it was only 3 weeks to the day that I left my TTQR with Newport Audi, and I had heard rumbles that the ESP retrofit was stretching beyond the original 4 to 6 week estimate.

The car is in perfect shape, and at first blush, runs better than ever. AOA reimbursed Newport Audi for a 2000 Aurora loaner as an absolutely freebie to me (It cost 'em $1100).

I am very impressed with AOA, Newport Audi and the ESP retrofit program. I recommend all without reservation.
