Ever since I had the suspension mods done the ASB light keeps coming on and off and, unless its my imagination, the car (225ttq) seems to pull to the left when breaking.
Any ideas?

Check to see if the plug is loose. If it seems tight, I would then unplug it and check for dirt/moisture. Get both a can of air and spray out any dirt, then get some sort of moisture repellant and try that as well. I hope this works/helps :) smallTTs 10-20-2000, 06:24 AM More ideas: Does ABS light go off if you shut down completely then restart? If yes, that could mean just a momentary loss of signal, from loose wire. Does it ever come on just as you hit a bump, etc? Check for stored DTC codes (dealer or VAG). Per MichaelTT's idea, you have same size tires/wheels front and rear, right? If yes, it's a dealer warranty thing. Brake pulling. Find flat area (parking lot, etc), brake moderately hard from 30 mph or so, not holding steering wheel to see if it pulls. Could be brakes or alignment or low tire pressure on one tire (I'm reaching now). If you can demonstrate the pull, see dealer. My $.02 |
