Hi, I have had a Ram filter in my car for about 6,000 miles now. Apparently, all of that sticky honey crap on the filter got in all of my hoses causing a problem. It took my service department over an hour to clean it, and the charged me? Does anyone know the deal??? Is this true??? Why have I never heard of this?

why they charged you for the clean up? Probably because Ram Air isn't OEM and the warranty does not cover it.

Many have posted about the sticky goo that comes with the Ram Air, but I don't recall anyone having problems of it getting into the hoses.
