What's your experience with the A4 Avant and/or A4 in the snow. Particularly, does the 4.3 inch ground clearance create problems with deeper snow?

Particularly, does the 4.3 inch ground clearance create problems with deeper snow? BenC 08-27-1999, 08:56 AM I live in Montana and have a 98.5 Avant QMS. I put studded snowtires on it in the winter and it has gone everywhere I have asked it to. I have had no problems with the ground clearance. FrancisK 08-27-1999, 10:28 AM I remember after I bought my A4, I've drive it out in the snow storm, store are closed, road are covered with snow, and parking lot are filled with 4~5 inch of snow. I got no problem with my baby, it bring me any where I want. scott 08-27-1999, 11:52 AM Last winter I was driving home passing cars everywhere including many SUVs. The snow cover was already so deep no one would drive in the left lane. I was easily doing 45mph+ comfortably and controled. Unbenownced to be it turned out to be the biggest snowfall of the winter in the upper Midwest with over 9 inches falling. The next morning, I just drove to work as I normally would passing everyone again. '96 2.8 with Nokian Hakkapeliitta NRW Mike 08-27-1999, 02:41 PM I have a 99 A4 Avant 2.8Q with the sport package.
