I posted the message "Dealer Problems - Need Avice" which can be found towards the bottom. Seems people were flaming me a bit that I piss people off and expect to much from people. While others (Cris in paticular) were helpful. Yesterday wasn't a good day for me and I did jump the gun. I didn't think the dealer was taking me seriously.... I was obviously wrong. Should I call the guy back and appologize and ask him if he'd still like to work with me, or should I just forget about and work with the new guy? Am I analying this too much? (I think so) Thoughts, suggestions?
Thanks
Mike D.
I wouldn't worry too much about hurting the dealer's feelings. It's something they face probably everyday. A tug-a-war of customer vs. dealer. Rejection is part of every salesperson's day.
My best suggestion is just walk into the dealership... ask them if they have the car you want to test drive. The more aggressive (perhaps more helpful) salesperson will approach you before you have to go look for a salesperson youself. Then go from there. Just go in and see which salesperson will ask you if you need help.
Remember, you want to try out the options you want, even if it means sitting in 2 or 3 different cars. Don't let them talk you into buying something you don't want - they are good like that.
If you have more questions, drop me a line.
