It's been in the shop now for 5 days while they replace my driver's side airbag. The whole thing has to be replaced, which they found out after having the car for 4 days previously trying to fix the annoying AIR BAG light that kept coming on. They even replaced the driver's side ignitor once but that didn't help. So a call to AoA was made and lo and behold, they say "Install new airbag!" So I wait for parts to arrive and meantime, I'm driving a POS Plymouth Breeze loaner. Yeah, I know why it's called a Breeze: it needs a good "breeze" behind it to get it moving.
Anyway, enough bitchin' for a Friday. I should get it back soon. Have a good wekeend everyone.

I had a similar airbag problem. Drivers side side impact I think. It makes me nervous that they had to replace it. I hope they didn't just deaden the sensor. They also had my car for a few days. After seeing the internal ivoice for the reapair, I was glad I didn't have to pay.
My loaner was a minivan.
Time before - a decked out suburban with leather!!
Last time - a cavalier. Man those cars suck!
Now I just wait for the car to be finished. I had it in for a few little things and inspection this week all under an hour.

What a POS! Sounds like your experience was worse, however!
Condolences!
