I just got my car lowered with the Neuspeed Race drop (claims 2inches but looks more like 1inch). The car looks a bit lower but there's still a bit of a gap between the fender and the wheel. I've seen some Audis around Newport (near AMS slammed...like almost touching the ground and both and front and back were tucking. Did those cars have coilover or did they just cut their springs?? Is cutting after market springs a good idea? I shop who installed my srpings (they only charged me $65..pretty good deal eh??) told me that if I was to get Koni or Bilstein sports shocks, then more car could go even lower...how does that work? I don't see how shocks car lower your car even more?? Any truth in that? Anyone got picture of their lowered a4?

Btw- the shop who lowered my car was practically laughing at me when I told them to drop my car with neuspeed springs...makes me wonder if I should have just gotten H&R for $150 more...oh well.

Sport shocks with adjustable spring perches will allow you to lower your car further than just springs. Currently, Neuspeed offers Bilstiens with adjustable perches all the way around. Bilstiens from other vendors are only adjustable in the rear. Koni's , afaik, are only adjustable in the front.
