What a blast!
The chance to thrash these wonderful cars (not mine but Audi Australia's) in a controlled (race track) environment ...way cool!
Slalom at speed, hard braking at 100kph etc and a great lunch to boot. Congrats Audi Australia.
However the cream on the cake for me was the blistering ride as Cameron M'Conville's passenger in an.....S4!!!
On a slightly negative note however, all demo cars were mk2. And, as I wouldn't normally drive my mk1 as hard as I drove today (not yet anyway) I found it impossible to compare any difference in handling characteristics. My gut feel however is that mk1 is, well, more fun and therefore will probably refuse all mods.
Anybody visit here that also attended the evenTT?
