First Impressions,
The APR Clutch is worth every Penny!
Feels and drives just like the stock clutch, but it Holds.
There is now adverse torque loss or stalling with the lighter flywheel that is normally associated with lighter flywheels. The car still maintains good drivability, this is a well made unit by APR and I highly recommend this kit.
My Garret GT25 turbo is finally installed,
Initial impressions, I have not noticed any lower torque that people normally notice with installing larger turbos.
I have not given the car any high revs yet, as I have to dyno test and adjust air/fuel in chip programming.
Powerwise so far to 5000rpm it has every bit of power as a K-04 setup if not more.
Spoolup time is fast. Within a week or so I should have the final chip in and give it some stick soon.
But so far it seems to certainly work well.

Lucas, I have the APR clutch and plate, and I am also pleased. It took about 100miles to break in and now it hooks up. I really like the flywheel responce on a toe and heel down shift. My timing needed some tuning at first to keep the tach from bouncing off 7500 rpms, but it's under control now. Why don't you post over in the Performance section. I am hardly ever over here anymore...just lucky to see your post.

First, CONGRATULATIONS!

I just have a few questions...

1. Since it's Garrett, is it ball bearing?
2. Did you have it clipped or ported?
3. What is the impellar housing size? (25g!?)
4. What is the compressor size (TD-04?, T4E?)

Thanks!

It is a Garret GT25 Ceramic Ball Bearing.

T25 Housing 0.60 60trim compresser T3 Exhaust 0.64 62 trim

Its one of the smallest in the new GT range,
don't forget we have only a small motor, that turbo is rated are 280HP from Garret at1bar
It will easily produce about 330hp by incressing pressure eg 1.2-1.4 bar range
I have had mine up to 1.3 bar and run rich to be safe and it is a blast!
