I know this config is available in Europe but will it ever find it's way this side of the ocean? Also, what method does Audi employ to get the extra 30 HP? Is it a simple chip or several mods? If so what brands does Audi use as I think those would be the safest to use (Strictly a newbies opinion of course)

Not sure about what other mods are involved, but it's all factory. Actually, it's handled by Audi's performance arm Quattro GMBH (some of those are supposed to be lower case, but I can't remember which ones). There's been plenty of speculation about when/if the 180hp will come to the states, I don't see it happening til the 3 litre V6 replaces the 2.8 (just my opinion though).
