Anyone else have trouble unlocking their hatch in their 99.5 A4 Avant remotely? My remote doesn't want to do the trick, I press and hold the middle button but "no can do." If I double press to unlock all doors on the other button, that will unlock the rear hatch.

I looked at the manual and noted the information about locking with the key, but I haven't been using the key on the rear hatch. Am I missing something?

I thought mine didn't work either until I realized it takes a second or two to relaease the trunk

unlock button opens the rear hatch then is sounds like your car may be programmed incorrectly. Check to see if both keys work correctly then talk to the dealer.

PS If the car does need to be reprogrammed don't let the dealer convince you that it is your one freebee.
