Just took my fully loaded 30Vqms from Seal Beach, CA to Seattle, WA. After arriving, I unloaded and put my seats back up (they were folded down with most of the weight on the folded down portion - you know, put the weight between the axles). Anyway, there were huge divots in the seats where the rear seat belt "female ends" are. They disappeared after a couple of hours, but I was wondering if extended use of the fold down seats might be detrimental to the material?
BTW, we took 2-line roads all the way from LA to Eugene, OR. Went through Mammoth (stopped for a couple of days of snowboarding), Reno, and stayed on the east side of the Sierra's/Cascade Range until we were well into OR. Best drive I've ever taken. This car just loves the mountain roads. I never had that much fun in my 5.0 Mustang. I had a different type of fun, but it doesn't compare. I love this car. Highlight of the trip (with my fiance' driving unfortunately) was being passed at 105mph by 2 grey haired couples in a brand new Northstar Caddy doing about 120. We followed them for about 100 miles (50 minutes). Go Grampa!!
On a lighter note, my fiance' gave me the OK to install the PES blower, but I have to pay off the car first. Damn. Looks like about 18 months away. I can't wait.
Gary

I had the same problem with the seats,so next time I put them down I put a small towel over the seat belt attachment and it worked fine. Hope this helps.

Mine burned/leaked? from the top of the hash mark area to the bottom in about 4000 miles. Does anyone know what that amount of oil is?

I took my A4 back to the shop who installed my exhaust and they ended up drilling through the rearmost hanger that supports the muffler and inserting a cotter pin to secure an additional washer which they added opposite of the rubber mount. This will restrict the side-to-side movement of the muffler (they left about 1/4" gap).

They said that the factory exhaust has TWO hangers for the muffler (one on each side), but all of the aftermarket exhausts/mufflers they have seen use only one (go look at your muffler).

The theory is that this lack of a second hanger for the muffler MAY somehow allow too much muffler movement (it is supposed to move somewhat, but maybe not this much). In any case, I guess I will find out the next time it rains...
