The so-called leather seats in the A4 Audis only have genuine leather on seating surfaces. All other leather-looking surfaces, including the armrest, headrests, door panels, the backs of the fronts seats, and the bottom edge of the front seats are ALL PLASTIC! Not even leatherette! This corner cutting in a car aspiring to be, in some future generation, in the same class as today's BMW 328i is completely unacceptable. This really makes you wonder where else such corners are cut. No wonder the bumper-to-bumper warranty is only good for 3-years. Wow!

If you took the time to do this you'd find that most cars don't come with full leather seats. Everyone has gone to leather seating surfaces or "leather-appointed" seats.
