off the internet and with ZERO success. Every time I'd select it then go in put my name/address/telephone number/cc info with ship-to address, name, yadda-yadda, the online server keeps telling me "you have no items in your shopping cart." But I DID have... at least half a dozen times. I tried calling but no ones home on Saturday or they're not open yet in Oregon. I'll try later today or first thing Monday.

Looks like I'm keeping the FWD for awhile as I dont expect ANY ESP equipped 225's to be here before Labor Day at the earliest... and if I was a betting man not until Christmas. Audi's got enough fish to fry right now without ESP 225's for the U.S. So I'm gonna go "all-out" on the FWD. Have the KW/Koni coilovers I have put on that are going to lower it another inch. Get MTM's rear spoiler. The carbon fibre front chin spoiler that MTM has but wont put a price on yet. The Character lower door edge finishers. And if no one wants to pay a fair price for it when the ESP 225 comes in I'll keep the damn thing and have two. But I am going to "peg" the needle in this thing just once. Only 7-8mph to go and I think lower, slippier with more downforce will just about get me 10 more mph. Any takers? And no comments of "death wish" or grenaded motors, or craziness please... for if thats your opinion, you know NOT of what you speak.

Wonder what class and how this car will fare on the local autocross circuit this summer? Might be worth checking out an event or two jus for grins.

I got my Garrett and H&R Sport Springs and will be doing the Borla next month. What a HGE difference the Garrett made!

I had already driven Jenner's TTQ with the Garrett and mine is MUCH faster with the newer code! He will have to get his flashed.

Have you driven the newest Garrett Code? If you have, how does it compare to the MTM?

I am actually thinking about either the LLtek M Type spoiler with the single exhaust slotted rear bumper from Caracter or maybe the Caracter rear spoiler . . .not too sure yet!

Do you know the price of the slotted bumper?

Let me know when and where you plan on making you speed runs and maybe I will take a cruise out to join you!

The chip is now up to 203hp, it pulls MUCH stronger now! I could not believe how much stronger it was than Jenner's chip!

next time I do it I'm going for the "if we're gonna be a dog, why be a chihuahua" philosophy. As I only plan on doing it once. And I'm approaching it loaded for bear. All my ducks in a row with benefit of weather channel for relative humidity and wind info. Colorado offers a lot of smooth/flat "farm-to-market" roads with visibilty to the horizon, out on the eastern plains within an hours drive. I need a spotter 10 miles ahead and two-way radio communication to let me know what/if anythings coming on a stretch of road with ZERO accessibility to that road in those ten miles, and to keep an eye out for errant troopers/local boys. Slow drives by at least two cars full-length of highway to check for debris on the surface. Two runs will be made. One each way with cool-down time between and for the spotter to get back to the other end. Early morning runs... break of dawn for maximum HP and smooth air. I also have a radar gun (dopler) and when I signal with a blip of the headlights hopefully an accurate indication of speed can be obtained near the end, just before "let-off/coast-down." First 5 miles will be a tire warmup and to develop a feel for the road and conditions. Then a slow acceleration to top-end. If anything feels weird or not "quite right" it gets worked out or the whole thing is postponed till it is worked out. I just want to know what this car is capable of speed-wise. And I only need to find out once. And if you're up for driving out to help, you're more than welcome. Done right, this is a team effort. I can't/wont attempt it alone.

Garrets sending me the Rev16 chip this week and another one or two to "beta." Its probably gonna be one of those that makes this high-speed run with rev-limiter removed.

I dont think those prices are WITH exhaust... just the pieces to match whatever exhaust system you have or want to have. It may also include a stainless steel tip to better fit the "TT dial" cutouts. But if you look at other pieces... like the front spoiler, rear wing, etc they are expensive alone. Theres no way they are going to give us a dual exhaust cat-back system with dual mufflers/resonators AND a replacement slotted bumper for a little over $700.

Which month is optimal for this type of thing? I have never been to CO and would not mind taking the trip!

I knew his "older" chips were 200hp and 245 lb/ft. Am I correct or just a little off?

All I know is "THIS CAR IS FAST AS HELL . . .NOW!"

I could almost spin the wheels with the quattro!

There is a get together already set for 2/19 on Bronxville, NY! it is not too far from you.

Go to http://ctny.a4.org

Go to events and you will read about it! Same thing as last time in Hartford, excpet for more cars and people. it will also be MUCH warmer and have indoor facilities!

I also plan on taking off the snows for this event, barring of course we have snow! lol

there are 3 different prices: one with single exhaust($609), one with dual($765), and one with fake dual($765)

Why would a single outlet bumper be so much cheaper? $165 seems reasonable for the extra pipe and tip

Hopefully we will get to the bottom of this Monday!

I think he has been studying how MTM, APR and others are coding there chips to see where he can improve his chips! I am sure they all do this.

All I know is, it is a HUGE improvement over the 200hp chip!

... opened to traffic yet. Took my Honda CBR600R out there, with only one guy posted midways to "signal" for obstructions. Speedometer vibrated close to 10 mph above manufacturers specified top speed, though it was hard to see through the vibrations, with the chin of the helmet pressed against the tank and the air tearing at the top of it. Made several runs to establish the latest "safe" brake spot to stop short of the Caterpillar at the end of the finished road.

Agree with the sentiment that it's OK to do it, no need to repeat it.

you can also contact AWE in Philadelphia.

They are one of the distributors for Garrett and do all of his dyno work.

This whole access to the code thing stems from a European Car article. Yes, if MTM needs the key to decrypt the stock code, i'm sure they have access, however, they modify the maps to their liking. The reason MTM doesn't offer revisions is quite simply because they spend weeks fine tuning a chip.

development going. Improving and making them better. And we are the ones that benefit. I find no fault in ongoing updates/improvements and additional power with added dependability. Doesnt mean they cant get it right so much as they're always trying to get it better.

Do you already have an MTM exhaust? I am a little confused about how you titled your post!

If you only have the MTM exhaust, you will be THRILLED with the Garrett chip!

I got mine on Friday and WOW!! It is FAST!!!!

I had driven an earlier version of a Garrett chip also in a TTQ, my car is now MUCH, MUCH faster than the other chip!

I talked to Garrett and he confirmed what I thought. The car is now 203hp, 265lb/ft torque! That is pretty much on par with MTM! He is also working on more powerful chips. They should be ready in a few weeks! I can hardly wait!
