Saturday evening a light rain turned to rock-hard ice. A normally half hour trip from the slopes to the village took three hours. As it turns out, 22 accidents were tallied around town by morning.

Anyway, I thought it would be excellent practice for my son on his learners permit. Soooo I went over and gathered him up for some real life experience. The icy conditions did not make the impression on my boy I intended. After a one hour work-out with my son behind the wheel of my coupe he said, "Dad, whats the big deal?"
