View Full Version : which brand of CDRW works with the factory 98.5 cd changer? _rl 08-25-1999, 05:55 PM i tried imation and they gave me a CDX ERR. _rl 98.5a42.8quattro:wifmods! Alex 08-25-1999, 06:16 PM Greg 08-25-1999, 10:20 PM The CD unit itself must be "multi-play compliant" in order to read CD-R discs. I have yet to come across a CD-ROM drive or car CD changer that can read CD-RW discs. Then again it has been a while since I've used my CD-RW drive since I got my 2nd CD-R. In case you are wondering, I use mostly Sony, Imation, or Verbatim blanks in my TEAC 4x recorder. I had an Alpine CD changer and other various cd players and all had no problem reading CD-R media. It has been rumored that the dark blue CD-R media (such as Verbatim) work the best but I have yet to prove that theory. Rob 08-26-1999, 06:25 PM nt |
