OK Guys...I realize the hot topic of the moment is the TT recall but I have a small question on another issue. Has anyone found a phone connection that is small enough to still allow you to close the ashtray entirely? This may be a minor thing but I hate having my ashtry "hanging open" all the time...

I have posted this a couple of times. Maybe it could be added to FAQs.

I removed the ashtray and used 'scotch' connectors to tap power from the cig. lighter leads and ran the wire out from behind the ashtray. I attached the new socket to the forward post of the passenger side dash brace with double sided tape and a black cable tie. Cost - about $7 and 1/2 hour.
