In Germany, customer can also choose a set of Winter wheels and tires. The design is described as "10 spoke wheels", size is 16" (?).

Questions:

1. All Germans on this board - have you seen this wheel?

2. If so, can you provide a picture?

3. Everybody else - any idea whether Audi is planning on offering this in the US as well?

BTW, this option (4 wheels, 4 tires) retails for DM 1300, about US$ 725.
I'm still in the process of deciding what wheels to get for the winter.

Pretty ugly, if this is it. That looks like a hubcap on a steel rim.

It is odd, isn't it? The original looked really "smashed", so I increased the height. However, it still looks strange. Kind of like something out of a TT nightmare.

I bought four New Beetle wheels (16") with snows for winter use from Ronal. Ronal is the OEM; they replaced the central VW logo with their own, and it looks fine. Plus, when my TT lease runs out I'll have four spare wheels for my wife's Beetle.

Y'r obd't s'v't,

Could you describe what your New Beetle (16") wheels look like? Where can I get a picture? Thanks
