I am getting a 2000 A4 1.8T Quattro with sport package. Is there any way I can get the 17inch S4 wheels? My dealer said they were not an option. Can I order them separatley from the dealer and then sell my 10 spoke 16 inchers. Thanks for the help.

I would recommend you get the sport package, and ask him to give you the 15" wheels. If you know you will be changing them anyway, why not get the 15s and keep them for snow tires (they are all weather)...and order your 17s (I like the S4 wheels too). I tried this when I bought my A4 and the dealer was willing to go down $250 on the price for the wheels... I then decided to stick to the 7 spokes....
Hope this helps,
Dimitri

I'd bet there will be a few sets for sale as the S4 owners upgrade to 18s. In fact, someone already posted that he was going to sell his OEM wheels. They'll be a lot cheaper than buying from the dealer (if you could).

IMHO the S4 wheels are not very stylish compared to the other after market wheels available. There are lots of good designs out there- check out the wheel forum.
All that said, you should be able to buy the wheels off the buyer of a S4 or TT for $600-$800.

I do know at least one guy taking delivery of an S4 in a couple of weeks that will sell the S4 wheels in favor of some BBS's.
