I apologize for my ignorance on this subject but I've put about 1300 miles on my TT during the first week and it seems like the turbo boost in first and second gears is less noticable now than before. Is this normal? There doesn't seem to be a power reduction, just the boost is less obvious.
Thanks for any info.
Jeff
This is my second turbo car and i had the same experence. My frist turbo was an eagle talon, whose turbo was much more abrupt. it felt like a runaway train when it kicked. But after a while i got used to it. Most likly, this is the same for you. The TT turbo comes on much more smothly, so i think you have adjusted. If you could pull yourself away for your TT for awhile(i.e.vation) you would fell it again.
Hope this helps
Pat
Black\grey
180fwd
I think a couple ofthings. 1, the stearo effect, you've gotuse to it! :) 2. The engine/turbo are breaking into the groove of things. 3. Weather, has it gotten hotter? When the air is thick, like a fog and/or when real cool, then the intercoolers can do a better job and cooler the air better, thus producing more horse faster. Take a real early morning foot stomp, then do it again at the same place, etc. in the deaad heat of the day, you will notice a difference.
Thanks,
Jay
