Greenwich Audobon Society (nice twisties in the area). (150 acres)
PepsiCo Headquarters - neat sculptures
Pound Ridge Reserve (800 acres0
TeaTown (250 or so acres)
Kensico River Damn (very small though)
Mohonk Mountain Lodge (golfing, rock scrambling, horse back riding, very nice drive)
Bear Mountain (Route 9, great drive) - in connection with West Point see below
Bronx Zoo (New Gorilla Exhibit is great, driving around there sucks)
Westchester Mall - also visit Lazy Boy Saloon for great beer - good rainy day thing
Fishkill NY for great Fly Fishing and camping

Kent Falls in Litchfield, Lake Waramaug (sic?) and the Connecticut Wine Trail - Also great B&Bs. This is a good full day trip. Also, Lime Rock Park is up there. River Rafting, Canoeing...Many good drives.

South Norwalk CT for the maritime center, IMAX theatre, and a boat ride to an island.

Yonkers Plantetarium.

West Point - speaking of which every Labor Day they do the 1812 Overture complete with real canon fire over the Husdon River. That's in a couple weeks. Supposed to be great.

Elmsford Slot Car Raceway

There is also a lot of Public museum/Mansions overlooking the Hudson in the Tarrytown area. Check it out. If you get a chance and have money to spend on dinner, The Castle at Tarrytown is really really cool. Bring money.

Hope this helps! Good Luck!
I've been to most of these places and I recommend them all.

Elmsford Raceway lost their lease to Princeton Ski Shops. I've known the owner for almost 40 years (Lou Del Rosario), I talked with him a couple of weeks ago. He assured me that the raceway will be relocated and will be bigger and better than ever. The indoor amusement center will have to move also.
