...if it's not too much trouble. What is the claimed hp/torque increase?
I got the Stebro catback 1-1/2 months ago; the tips look pretty close to stock, though I think they offer other options. Throttle response was increased nicely, and I no longer need to downshift when passing at 55-60mph on a 2-lane road.
Rich D.

It will be sometime next week. I am also satisfied with the response of the engine. I can say that I am hearing turbo whistling all the time, which is perfectly alright with me. I guess around 8 percent increase in both horsepower and torque. I have Neuspeed chip and K&N airfilter in my A4 and the shop I bought it told me to expect at least 14 horsepower. I don`t really know, how can I measure the horsepower/torque numbers since my car is a quattro. Does anyone know?

IMO, your question will be a mystery with the quattro A4s, FWD A4s with different exhausts can tell us if they have the same chip vendor. Everything else should be same except the exhaust and this makes it a very hard condition to satisfy.
For the sound, if other forum members with exhaust systems can make wave files, we should get an idea. I tried it with a laptop of my friend and I just figured that his laptop's mic doesn`t function properly. I am going to try it again this weekend. Hopefully I will make wave files and mp3s:
when the car is idle
when the car is in neutral just applying throttle
when accelerating from 0-60
and during some other conditions. We all should get an idea. I think this should be done, because I bought my exhaust without knowing what kind of a sound I would get. It will be helpful to others I guess.
KeremD 1.8TQMS Neuspeed, Klasse, K&N, clear corners (looking for 17inch wheels and aftermarket suspension)

How does the non-trip computer service indicator work? I have a 2.8 w/about 7,000 miles on it. About 500 miles ago, the light that looks like an oil can started to periodically flash and beep. There is no consistent time that it comes on - sometimes I'll drive for a half hour and it won't; sometimes I'll take a short drive and it will. Although I could be imagining things, I think that it usually comes on after I take a hard corner.
Is this just the service indicator, or is it some other problem?
I'm not too concerned either way, since I'll bring my car in for the 7,500 oil change in a about a week, but I'd like to know for future reference.

The service indicator displays as text in the Temp area - the icon is an oil pressure warning.
