I recently installed some superwhite bulbs made by Vision into my stock 96 A4. They are H7 low, H1 fog, H7 high for each side. The stocks were H7 55W and the upgrades were H7 70W. I was advised by my speed shop that 70Ws were fine for the A4. However, I notice that the passenger side low and the passenger side fog, when on, are a tad dimmer than the driver side ones. Is this because I'm draining the battery more (dumb question), or what do you think it is? I don't think it's a bulb thing, since I swapped them thinking the same thing. HELP!

Hey Dan, I did the same thing. The Super whites aren't that helpful. In matter of fact, they were worse than the OEM's. I have a 96 as well, and the only way that we can get better lighting is to change the headlights or add after market driving lights. I'm personally looking into adding after market driving lights. The ones similar to the new 99.5's. Good luck!

Hello,
I'm A4's owner and want to add 99.5's headlights & similar fogs.
How do you get this one ?

the higher output bulb has in any way damaged your headlight. I think the wiring should handle +15W, not sure about the plastic headlight. (Euros are glass, that's ok). Even the stock headlights have a tendency to develop a gazillion tiny cracks in front of the bulbs - check for it and let us know if find something.
