I just Purchased an A8 a few weeks ago so i'm just starting to get use to the car. ANyways i'm still waiting for the seller to mail me the owners manual , but in the mean time I had a few questions. First it seems like me car was once equipped with a car phone. I found the jack in the armrest and there is also a phone button on my steering wheel. The phone itself however seems to be missing. Is there anything I can do with the equipment in the car to hook it up to my cell phone? Or any where I could buy a used audi car phone? I just think it would be cool to have is all.

Next I was looking around in the trunk and I have found a set of cables that are connected to nothing. The look like data cables, that are right next to the Navi box and the CD changer. One of the looks like a 32-pin Parallel cable, and the other like a serial cable. I have no idea what they are for.

Finally i am interested in doing a Navi upgrade but I wanted to know if there was anything else that integrated the same as the RNS-E upgrade, but cost less. Like a third party/aftermarket option. I was told to do a RNS-E install would cost about 2,500 with everything.
