Hello, this is formerly "ultradub".

I have an issue with my steering of late, the weather is has been rather cold lately(the temp has been around 0 celsius or 32 degrees Farenheit) and is seems that my my steering has become stiff and at times difficult to steer.

This usually occurs after having driven for a period of time and if I park the car momentarily and restart after a short stop, the steering is stiff for a few seconds (5 to 15 seconds) and then everything is back to normal. Yet on cold starts in the morning this usually does not occur. I have checked the fluids.

Any suggestions? Is this weather related, even though on cold starts the steering is fine.

Thank you and happy holidays to all!

Cheers.

I hope everyone is enjoying the holiday season.

does it happen at low speeds or higher speeds or what about the rpm?.
Try to note conditions at the time and also check relay and fuse and other connections
May be a loose plug on the power unit.
Do you mhave a manual

Yes indeed I do. Recently had water issue in the ECU housing. Had that cleared and cleaned up, not sure if the connections were affected.

I cannot truly distinguish it at high speeds, yet at low speeds at times it does feel a bit more difficult than usual.

Audipages instructions...it is soooo easy and only really takes like 20 minutes of your time. Doesn't hurt anyways to do!
