upon starting the 1.8T this morning, the engine vibrated in a strange way, sounded like it was briefly about to stall, and then revved itself a little. it then sounded normal, but the check engine light comes on (gotta love OBDII). i drove around carefully, but did try revving up to 4000 rpm at a few points; performance seemed to be the same as before. i do have an APR, but never had the light come on before. i have only read some of the previous posts, since the search is not fully working yet.

my best guess is a bad spark plug. anyone else venture a guess before i bring the car in for a pre-10,000 mile checkup?
