a final agreement. The latest total damage determined by the Audi body shop is right at $6500, so the car shouldn't be totaled. (The initial estimate by the insurance adjuster was $3700- he missed just a few bits ;-) It will be at least 2 weeks for the repairs to be completed, and I already really miss my A8. I'm driving a POS Nissan Sentra rental for now, and it really makes me appreciate the A8! Looking at the Sentra, if I'd hit the deer in it I would likely be in the hospital- for quite a while.

of hidden damage under the hood. Radiator supports (he says they are carbon?), and a lot of other hidden front end parts that need to be replaced. Also, the front passenger fender got slightly dented at the BACK of the fender near the door. Apparently the rear corner of the hood was pushed back into the fender, something I didn't notice.
