Hello All,
I have a 1998 S8; the external temp on the VDO screen shows -45 most of the time, but sometimes it starts going up slowly until it reaches near the proper temperature (which is +24 these days).

I suppose that the sensor is broken or loose. I am trying to locate it in the engine compartement but I ran out of luck. I assumed it would be somewhere near the front bumper. Anybody knows where it is located?

Maybe mine has falled off or something, how can I make sure?

Thank you very much. Obviously, mine had fallen off. I was able to find the plug roaming free in the engine bay :(

Lucky it hasn't tangled with anything.
