Sunday I went to University Audi and talked with a sales guy about the '00 A4 2.8. He showed me the 6 or 7 they have ordered, and had a Santorin Blue one at code B, which I can modify to my liking.

CarOrder.Com says I can't buy the car from them until they have '00 pricing. I've seen some posts where people have been ordering '00 models from CarOrder.Com. How is this being done, and who do I need to talk to? Thanks.

I just ordered a '00 1.8T through Carorder.com. There is some confusion among the rank and file at Carorder WRT how to go about placing such an order, but it can be done. My order was placed through University Audi in Seattle. My dealer contact is Dave Wood. I'm told my car is in
"B" status.

...spoke to at COC, so I can work with them, too?

I worked with Nikki Carroll. My purchase price will be at invoice (determined when Audi publishes).

The first time I spoke with Nikki, she indicated that a 2000 order was no problem. When I followed up to actually place the order, she indicated that they couldn't accept 2000 orders until pricing was available. I reminded her of our previous conversation and she agreed to place the order provided that I understood the pricing issue.

...they can't order a 2000 yet! They sure aren't very consistent.

When you order through COC, you put a $500
down, correct? How do they work out financing
or payment? Do you work it out after you get the
car or during the initial order?

Just to get things straight:
1. Place order by giving them all necessary info.
2. You put $500 down.
3. They do a credit check.
4. Wait for car and then take car of financial
work???

Thanx.
