If I had a facelift car......I would retrofit bi xenons to it for sure!

Here is an auction which includes bi xenons....if it doesn't sell, I would see if the seller would split up the lights!

hs a shutter over part of the beam in low beam mode and removes the shutter for high beam mode. Turning on the high beams increases the beam pattern for the HID lamp as well as turning on the halogen high beam.

There is still only one xenon unit -- the low beam. When you flip to high beam, a little rudder/screen moves to redirect the low beam to a different pattern, and a regular halogen high beam is also used to fill it in. Really the halogen is still the primary unit.

As opposed to the older "single" xenons, the low beam stays on unchanged and the halogen high beam kicks in.

Halogen is perfectly adequate for high beam. Some would say better because it's quicker to fire like in those short burst moments you need them, like to flash, on and off moments on windy roads, etc. Xenons need time to come to full power. Halogens typically throw wider beams which is helpful in dark rural areas.

to your high beam, you don't burn the xenons by flashing the lights.

They use a single bulb with a solenoid to produce both high and low beam in Xenon.

How much are you getting rid of them for? I'm interested.
