Hello,

I am new here I'm going to buy a s8 ... yehhaa
Just wanted to ask why some cars have both (rear, front) badges, other only front or rear ones? Does it show that the car had an acceident and the badge have not been replaced or something? Or when you buy a new s8 then you have a change to choose the badge location?... dunno... so anybody?

...If the main goal was to "hide" an accident, replacing a badge would be the easiest thing for the seller to do. There are other tell-tale signs of an accident; badge would be the last thing to consider, though it makes you think...

yeah probably.. but there are just too many s8 (used cars of course) on sale with no badges or just one of them... (badge snappers gang?) :) And most of the s8 owners are not in tuning.. like - uhh this badge looks so ugly...Does a brand new car what rolls out shop definitely have front and rear badges? any ides?

Tke a close look at the grill, and take note of any factory stampings on the plastic. My original oem 99 grill might have had a sticker on it, and I recently noticed my passenger mirror was newer than 99.. i.e. 1st owner smacked it in the 18k miles he owned it.
