...that they require trimming. I have them for my 90Q. When I ordered them, I was under the impression that they were wupposed to fit. Like you, I was surprised at how far from the proper shape they were. I did find that they were easy to trim (and that is expected), and didn't look too bad once that was done. My car looks like crap all winter anyway, so it doesn't bother me to use them for a couple months out of the year. The only reason I didn't send them back was that they are the only ones that really hold a lot of water, and that was my primary reason for purchasing them.
Charles
They even have separate part nos. for the FWD and Quattro models.
However, when I called them to order an Avant cargo area mat, they didn't have an application yet. Was wondering what other Avant owners have purchased.
Interestingly, Imparts doesn't sell the Weather Tech floor mats; maybe this is the reason. Instead, offer ones from Cannon that have a 1/2" raised outer lip. $79 for front & rear set; they say "have patterns to fit most cars".
Imparts no. is 800-325-9043; Web is
www.imparts.com

Jim H. , you gotta help me understand the difference between where
you live/work and California. My audi brand specialist is not even
getting close to these kinds of numbers on a 99.5 1.8TQM. Help.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM

IMHO, since California is a hot market...one of the sunbelt states...we get different lease rates, factors, residuals, and taxes. It is a well known fact that AoA plays with this stuff to facilitate the sales of one type or model of car over another. My dealer is not getting close to these numbers...and it is starting to discourage me from making the jump from my existing 97 2.8QM to a 99.5 1.8TQM. What sometimes happens is that certain areas get special promotions going...maybe these folks are taking advantage of them. I am starting to get the feeling that $360/month for a 39 month 15K miles/year minimum drive off deal is not $360/month here in California...but more like $425 to $450/month (at least at this point in time). Yes, these things change over time.
Can any recent 99 1.8TQM owners, IN CALIFORNIA, list their basic lease terms for comparisons?. That would be very helpful as this things seem temporaly driven.
Steve S.
97 2.8QM
