I have a brilliant black A4, and my friend wants to sell me a set of clear sidemarkers at an awesome price. I really like the look of smoked sidemarkers on black A4s more though. I've actually never seen clear sides on a black A4. How does it look? Is there any way to "smoke" the clearcorners? A spray?

I had the same problem on my old VW Golf, and I used a special spray made by Folia Tec. It worked well and you can choose the intensity of the smoking effect by applying one or more layers. From my experience, what was hard to do was to obtain a perfectly smooth surface but with the small side markers you should have no problem.

If you can't find the spray in the US, tell me and I'll send it to you. (about 20.- Sfr which yelds about 12$).

FYI: I think white side markers look really good on the A4 !

It would be cheaper just to buy the smoked sidemarkers from Autobahn International.
