A few of you already know that I have had some very bad driveability problems with my car recently. It now appears that the mass air unit has gone south and that it is in no way related to the PES. But during the journey to diagnose this tough problem I want to give the following people my thanks and grattitude: Tony at PES was very, VERY helpful, not to mention concerned. He kept his composure and remained cool when I was starting to lose mine and became frayed! Pat (Audi sales) and Tom (Audi service tech) at Rod East VW/Audi were both extremely helpful and provided really excellent service beyond my expectations. Pat drove to meet me when my car gave up altogether and Tom squeezed me in to service during his lunch time without an appointment! I called AoA to express my sincere thanks to these two guys at Rod East as well. All too often, all everyone hears are the complaints and what has gone wrong with this or that. (AoA was pleasantly surprised to hear a customer giving praise). Although the car isn't completely fixed yet, I am filled with confidence that this "team" (Tony, Tom, Pat and myself) will have it purring like a contented cat again soon.

How much is the Mass Air Flow Unit going to cost you? I had to replace one recently in a different vehicle and it was about 200 for the chip and 200 for the install. ::sighs::

Also, you've probably posted it before, but what are your impressions of your PES? Have any 0-60 comparison times? Do you have a manual or tiptronic and how are they effected by it? I've been keeping up with their progress on the 1.8 supercharger and am heavily considering it. How much was the PES and how much/where did you get it installed?

Any info would help - Thanks....
