So all day I'm thinking about what I need to do next....the wiring was very simple, I just unplugged the CD player in the trunk because it's not compatible....my Blitzsafe adaptor is on it's way.

Did not post pictures with my OEM climate control unit back in because it doesn't fit! It sticks out about 5". And I don't have the inside air temperature sensor attached anymore so it doesn't really work....you can get hot air but you have to continually adjust it. Hope my new one from Germany comes this week!

Anyway, changed the two or three wires that I needed to (BTW, I'm leaving my phone just like it is, don't have to integrate it into the Nav Plus system at all, but it will still mute it) and plugged it in.

So I go to put the SAFE code in it and somehow I mess up one number...bummer. You have to turn the knob on the right to highlight the number and then press it in to select it. So it tells me I have to do it again....and somehow I pressed the right hand knob in (which selected the same wrong number) and now it's in SAFE mode!!! I have to wait an hour!

Oh well, have the GPS antenna on the dash right now....and all the switches hanging out on the left, it's gonna be a bitch on the track!

..So, maybe you and the kids wanna do an Ipod install friday or saturday to pass the time away(in a productive manner;) ??

But was thinking of going with the Alpine slide out flip up unit, but that depends on what it finally ends up costing you.

Trim will go back on, but not until I get the new style climate control unit which I hope comes soon!

I still have to wire in the "K" line bus (VAG-COM) to it because the Delta radio did not have it but the Concert and all later ones did. Going to do that today.
