I have deleted the posts. No profanity on the Forum -- that's our #1 rule. Don't jump down my back for censorship either. Rules are rules!
Damon is a good guy. I know that because I've met him in person and e-mailed frequently. Cut him some slack and maybe he'll stop being defensive. Hopefully he can repost his question in a way that people will realize he's looking for positive contributions and not criticism. We all have strong opinions, but I just hate it when people start really chasing other people.
Damon, Jim H, Una-whatever... you guys are getting out of control. Please help me keep this a productive place for Audi enthusiasts. Thanks!
Jason

I kind of suspected my responses to him would disappear quickly, even though I tried to remain constructive and not attack.
Periodically the board goes crazy like that. I wonder if it is possible to correlate that with future moves in the stock market. Maybe we could make some $$$ if we found that the market always falls after the forum goes nuts. (Just kidding, I think). Or maybe this just happens due to the phase of the moon, or bad weather causing everyone to go stir crazy.
Dale

Hey, I defended you -- remember? But once everybody starting slinging the sh*t then I had to "step in." Ew, I'm such a bad-ass! :-)
What's this about Network Solutions stock? Network Solutions is a difficult company to work with at best. I guess that's what happens when you have a monopoly on your service. Is their stock doing well?
Jason

I knew you'd pull it, I was suprised it took you so long. I have to stay on our boards pretty tight too, I really am sory, I went off the hook.
Network Solutions, think about it. They register 17,000 domain names a month, they've registered over 7 million domain names worldwide and they've have had a monopoly on domain names since the game began. Thanks to an angreement with the government that they be a non-profit organization, until, YOU GUESSED, 6 months from now, that monopoly has given them THE LARGEST internet cliemtel in cyber world. Unlike most internet/e-tail/etc companies, they have very little overhead. You call them, you pay them for mysite.com and then you pay them over and over to keep it? what a joke. God forbid they should decide to jump into some joint venture marketing project when thier contract is up. Anyone who didn't see that one coming..
Anyway I bought some 2 years ago for 19 bucks and some more 2 weeks ago for 100 bucks. I sold it all for 224 today. I still think it's a great buy but It'll come back a bit. Check out VRSN too, I like it.
And thanks for looking out. %^ )
Damon

Internet stocks are to the market what Furbys were to Chrstmas. Now is probably not the time to buy, unless you plan to dump the stock in the short-term. Just my $.02.
J.Russ
Long-termer
