the car was very pleasing in just about every respect. everyone say what they want, but a transmission going out in the first 1200 miles is not good. if i wanted to trade in or sell in a year or two i would have been hurt big time. they never did explain to me satisfactorly about what what was realy wrong with the car. only that audi did not want to really check to see, just send a new transmission. their first thought was a oxegen sensor valve. from there it goes to a new transmission. i emailed audi, spoke to my representitive numerous times. the dealer did not even want to talk to me about it. say what you want, but this was totally unaceptable. with this level of car so early in the game, without question they should have given me a new car. they also said that they had to pull my trans. from production, which would lead me to think they have no stock.

Fine car, except for the transmission? Fine car and I think that I will get another one?

simply speeking, i still feel the car is a great car. it is to bad i got a bad one. it would not have mattered who made the car. if it would have turned out this way i would have done the same thing. a $75,000 a 1,000 miles and bad transmission, not a good way to start your relationship with a cusumer. then 35 days to fix. not good public relations.

Was this a purchase or a lease?
Did they fix the car or not?
If they did, was the issue that they took too long? If so, what car replacement/loaner they gave you those 35 days?
Was the car performing flawlessly after getting repaired/fixed?
I'm not sure what your complaint is about, that's all. In any case, full warranty for 4 years is exactly there to cover ALL defects and manufacturing problems. The only variable/unknown should be the competency of the local dealer.
Hope your problem is resolved by now.
