Here is a dyno run - Here is proof that some manufactures are not quite up to snuff on their chip tuning. Equipment is K04 upgrade with Neu*!@^% chip, 2.5" techtonics exhaust, K&N, electric fan on intercooler. Only piece not put on was 180 degree fan switch. I would say the outcome is very low on power(unless a front drive saps about 26%) and power delivery is about as sawtoothed as you can get. Just a suggestion - K04 turbo good thing, some chips not so good. I am going back to a TAP chip. Will also do another dyno with Schrick cams and TAP hi-flo cat and down pipe in about a week. Will post that also if anyone is interested.

As it was explained to me by the Greedspeed guys, the Neuspeed K04 kit was designed for stealth. They will readily admit that an exhaust, different manifold, and larger intercooler will make the system perform better, but their design criteria was different. They wanted a kit that would not be visibly detected when the car was brought in to a dealer. The K04 casing is the same as the K03. They reprogram the factory chip, rather than install a socket. The fan switch looks the same as the original. They will even extrude hone your factory manifold.
Sure there are kits that provide better performance, but if one looks in the engine compartment of a N'speed K04 kit, they will not be able to see anything that does not appear stock. That was their intention.
How could "stealth" appearance be so much more important than power?? And why claim 225+ if all they really cared about was stealth??
Really, you should think about your statement a little more.
