Hello people.

I am new to these forums. I am 17 and my dad is seriously considering buying a used A8 probbably 97-99 models.

I live in the UK (London).

But I think the new A8 is one of the most beautiful cars in the world. I'm starting a medical degree very soon, and was wondering what you guys think residuals will be like on the new A*.

I'm sure they'll be worse than Bmw 7 and MB S class (even though the new a8 is stunning). Don't you guys agree?

If so, I was hoping maybe in three years time I could buy a used one for about £13-17 grand.

I think thats a real possibility.

Oh and once again, the new a8 is just gorgeous!
