They are great guys and very helpful. www.vortrag.com ME 08-21-1999, 06:46 PM I got Shawn van Neer to install my Sticks a couple of months ago...give them a call @ 604.552.9707

www.momentummotor.com</a

99.5Turbod 08-21-1999, 06:56 PM Cameron 08-21-1999, 07:44 PM You may want to search the archives for info on Cathleen's red A! A4 which has Schrick cams. Note that, unless changed, all A4's have Schrick cams since Schrick is the OEM cam manufacturer. While all are not balanced, timed, etc. the same way, I think one major factor for Cathleen -- from what she's said on the board -- was the fact that they were the OEM manufacturer. Also, note that most of the other "tuners" who sell their own cams are resellers of Schrick cams. A cam by any other name... Marcus Frost 08-22-1999, 07:06 AM Todd 08-23-1999, 05:28 AM Huh??? I think someone is confused here. Schrick cams are sometimes ground on VW/Audi billets, but that does not mean VW/Audi cams are made by Schrick. Schrick buys the raw billets from VW/Audi, as do some other cam manufacturers (Hor tech, etc.) and grinds them in house to their own specs. They are a large manufacturer, but I doubt they even have the ability to be the sole OEM supplier to a manufacturer like VW/Audi! Todd Air & Water www.awe-tuning.com |
